The Team

Finbarr and James founded Daylight in March 2020.

They saw that most projects undertaken by developers and architects have a high degree of compromise when it comes to bespoke glazing and clients rarely get what they hoped for. Compromise ensues, driven by a number of market factors. Ironically perhaps, the right glazing products will make or break how the homeowner feels about the finished project.

Finbarr Doyle Managing Director

Finbarr has over twelve years of experience in sourcing, procurement and managing businesses in the building materials and construction sectors. He has held various directorships at timber and builders merchants including Managing Director of IBC Buying Group, managing the business with over £450m in procurement spend, and Managing Director of Alloway Timber and PBM Builders Merchants in London.

James Allen Director

As sales director, James has several years experience in the building materials supply sector, working in drylining at Capital Drywall and then with Finbarr at IBC Buying Group, before taking up a sales director role with Nationwide. James launched AAS Distribution in early 2019 which gave rise to both Daylight and Procurement 4 House Builders in June 2020.
